Hi everyone i was just wondering if anybody could spot if i am going wrong in y daily routine.

7.30-Lights go on

8.00-Vegtables and fresh water

8.00-3.30-School

3.45-Give 1st crixs(about 5)

6.00-Give 2nd crixs(another 5)

9.30-10.00-Lights go off

I still cant pick him up (Deaks said he will TRY and teach me)

seems fine allthough id turn lights out bout 8pm :smile: and to pick him up just approch slowly and coax him on or gently slide hand underneath him dont approach from above hand from above =bird attacking him
and also slowly bring him out of the viv and reward hi mwith a crick when out so he associates handling wit a food then hell soon allow you to get him out :smile:

He could really do with some live food in the afternoon to be honest, and as justin said what are your temp's?

80-90 F in basking and 70-80 in cool end.

I cant give him live food in the afternoon because i am in school.

Your temp's are not quite right lee, the basking area should be around 105f and the cool end sound's fine. Offer food by hand and this will get him used to you and also when your cleaning him out he may come over and taste you. One of our's used to open her mouth and try and bite but you have to keep trying, ie don't put him back till he stop's wriggling and keep your hand's in the viv when handling just incase he jump's.

like titch says temp at the hot end is a bit low,you will find when you
get your temp up your lil beardie will eat a hell of a lot more and grow
faster tis a good thing :grin:
