depends on the snake!
2.3 coastal carpet pythons
1.1 jaguar carpet pythons
1.0 diamond python
0.1 irian jaya carpet python
0.1 childrens python
1.3 corn snakes
1.2.3 bearded dragons

does'nt hurt. don't break the skin most times
